Lighter loads. Easier installation. Less money spent on additional services.

Extending your home to add an additional family room or entertainment space is quite a common building occurrence. No matter how much trends change or how many new sources of illumination we come up with, natural light remains the best mood-setter and quite possibly the main feature of any current interior. Maximising your use of sunlight is what makes your home look and feel welcoming and comfortable, and it’s one of the best methods of increasing the value of your property, bringing the garden closer, and making the transition from one area to another seamless and natural. By installing floor-to-ceiling glazed doors, bi-fold, sliding or simple standard patio doors you will create a bright and welcoming spaces and integrate your garden into your home.

We see the domestic house building and DIY market as one in which we would seek to develop. In the first instance, our aim would be to set up a manufacturing plant to service builder’s merchants and the DIY market throughout all the retailers the UK. A Wavebeam facility would be based in the West of Scotland to produce Wavebeam Lite. Manufactured from 3mm steel, Wavebeam Lite has all the benefits of the Wavebeam deign
but is specifically design for the home improvement market. Currently, the weight of standard steel beams and RSJs are extremely heavy and difficult to manoeuvre, both in transit and during installation and often cranes, lifts, hoists and simple brute force is required to support the installation. It can not only be logistically difficult to organise, but also unnecessarily expensive to purchase these additional services. Wavebeam Lite will be supplied in either solid or open finish. On the open finished version, holes are cut out along the straight sections of the wave, in what we call “a gun barrel configuration”. This will make for the even easier installation of electrical, internet and plumbing services.

To supply this market, Wavebeam Limited is looking to work in partnership with an existing company to launch a Scottish based manufacturing facility. Once the first manufacturing plant is up and running, we would then be looking to roll out a programme of global development buy launching new manufacturing facilities within a forecasted time frame.

To develop this technology into the Domestic House Building market, Wavebeam Limited is immediately looking for partners to invest and collaborate in the future of this exciting new product. In the first instance, we are looking to open a manufacturing facility in the west of Scotland.
